Blue River

Trout Stocking Season:

Trout are stocked from Nov. 1 through March 31 associated with following calendar year.

Designated Trout Area/Size/Location:

A 6.25-mile percentage of the Blue River moving through the Blue River Public Fishing and Hunting region situated in Johnston County, four kilometers east of Tishomingo on State Highway 78 and six kilometers north.

Bank Access:

Bank/wading accessibility is present throughout the area (see associated map).

Notes interesting:

Special laws:

From Nov. 1 to Feb. 28, the percentage of the Blue River which comes into the north region of the home and flows towards the end of this first walk-in path is catch-and-release just. (See shaded area on map.) Fishing is restricted to barbless hooks, synthetic flies and lures only. Beginning March 1, unique laws don't use. Also, no camping and no vehicles are permitted except in designated parking aspects of the Carl R. and Ruth Walker Landrum wild plus the Bill and Valerie Plaster Wildlife Management device. Nonhunting and nonfishing visitors to the area must have a Wildlife Conservation Passport, unless exempt (see Unique Licenses & Permits).

Robber’s Cave

Trout are stocked from Nov. 1 through March 15 of fol­low­ing season.

A 1.5-mile percentage of Fourche Maline River instantly below Carlton Lake Dam downstream into south boundary of Rob­ber’s Cave State Park, situated in Latimer County, five miles north of Wilburton on State Highway 2.

Bank accessibility is good because whole selected trout stream lies within Robber’s Cave State Park.

Medication Creek

Lake Carl Etling

Trout tend to be stocked from Nov. 1 through April 30 associated with the following twelve months.

This 159-acre pond is at Ebony Mesa State Park in Cimarron County, about 30 miles northwest of Boise City.

Bank Access/Boat Ramps:

Berms extending through the south bank. Boat ramps on eastern and south sides associated with the lake.
